It’s a supply and support project awarded to Bayanat Engineering Qatar by Qatar Airways (Hamad International airport). The main object of this project is to supply, installation and commissioning of Veelo ADS-B Transponders. Also include the preventive and corrective maintenance of transponders. Bayanat Engineering Qatar with his partner SAAB Sensis will provide total quantity of 150 Transponders and installation along with testing and commission of Veelo Transponder is performed by Bayanat Engineering Qatar. Scope of Works includes below mentioned items

• Vehicle transponder with ADS-B transmitter and GPS receiver – 150 No’s
• Power supply cable with switch to control – Standard 4.6 meter – 150 No’s

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was awarded to Bayanat Engineering Qatar by QCAA/QMD. The scope includes the supply & installation of Vaisala-Automatic Weather Observation Systems (AWOS). We installed the AWOS equipment parallel to the runway to monitor the runway weather elements.
Vaisala AWOS System provides aviation meteorological data to the air traffic controllers, Pilots and other people who depend upon the airport weather-related information. It is base over 40 years of experience and excellence in the aviation business and includes field instrumentation/sensors specially designed for aviation purposes. All Vaisala systems and reports for aviation weather observation conform to the International ICAO standards and recommendations, as well as WMO regulations.
